No problem, I'll generate a few download URLs on my development server for our platform in the morning when I get into the office.

Thank you very much.

It definately seems to be something on the T-Mobile side. I tried to download it on a myTouch 3G and had the same issue, even when I allowed Unknown Apps. The UK Hero worked fine.

I know in the past our proxy would strip DRM from MMS as an intended feature. I'm wondering if changes made earlier this year applied that to web downloads as well.

That would seem to be the most likely cause. I'll have to push this a bit deeper, unfortunately I'm not sure how long it will take to determine if there is a work around. Of course, if it's working as intended, I'll try to figure that out as well.

Thanks,
Takeshi

Sounds good, I appreciate your help on this. I'll keep checking back here for any updates if you're able to provide any. I'm trying to find a way to watch incoming HTTP headers on my phone as they come in, but I haven't found an app to do it yet. Writing one may become my project for this weekend. Something like that could help identify an issue like that for certain pretty quickly and easily.

Sounds like a plan. If you haven't already been there, webkit.org has a lot of debugging info that's might help.
