Program Info
The T-Mobile Partner Network program provides you with an automated, online go-to market channel to bring your applications and games (for BlackBerry, Java ME and Windows Mobile) and mobile web sites onto the web2go marketplace. With a flat 70/30 revenue share model, standard click-through contract and simplified technical requirements, you can start earning 70% for your apps in record time.

Who is able to participate in the T-Mobile Partner Network Program?
The Partner Network program is open to companies that are interested in getting their mobile applications or web sites on the T-Mobile network. At this time a participating company or sole proprietor needs to be located in the U.S.A. and have an Employer Identification Number (EIN). To learn more about EINs go to, the

What type of mobile applications (including games) or web sites can be submitted?
The Partner Network program is for web sites and downloadable, executable applications (including games) that are built for J2ME (JAD/JAR), BlackBerry (COD), or Windows Mobile Devices (CAB). Advertisements in applications and web sites are allowed as long as the ads do not have content for the entities listed in the
T-Mobile Advertising Blacklist Guidelines document. There are also content restrictions for both applications and web sites as outlined in the applicable participation agreement.

What steps are required to set up a business relationship with T-Mobile?
- Register with the T-Mobile Partner Network.
- Login to the Partner Network and navigate to the "Program Tools" section.
- Provide all the required company information.
- Designate a contract signatory that can sign contracts on your company’s behalf.
- Review all the legal documents, which includes the Partner Network Participation Agreement for Mobile Applications or for Mobile Websites and related schedules (T-Mobile Partner Network Testing Requirements, Program Restrictions Schedule, Service Level Requirements, and Mobile App Payment Schedule).
- Have the contract signatory electronically sign the Partner Network Participation Agreement for Mobile Applications or for Mobile Websites, as applicable.
- You will receive an email from T-Mobile asking you to sign up for the Supplier Management Portal. This is an automated and easy process in order to set you up to be paid and to change important information for tax reporting purposes. If you do not receive the email from T-Mobile, please contact the Partner Network team at: partnerteam@t-mobile.com.

What are the steps to submitting a mobile application or web site?
- Before submitting your mobile application or web site, please refer to the Partner Network certification testing requirements. During the submission process, you will need to work with one of T-Mobile’s independent testing houses to verify that requirements are met. Please note that the independent testing houses will charge you fees for their services.
- You can test your mobile application or web site on real T-Mobile devices from your PC with DeviceAnywhere. Please note that DeviceAnywhere will charge you fees for their services.
- Submit each mobile application via the Partner Network site.
- Submit mobile web site URLs and other info via the Partner Network site.
- Create an account with one of T-Mobile’s independent testing houses in order to pay for testing fees and work with them to test your mobile application or web site. View more info on our testing and certification partners.
- After testing, the independent testing house will provide test results.

What are the requirements for certification for mobile applications or web sites?
The requirements that will be tested are listed in the Partner Network Testing Requirements document and Program Restriction Schedule which is located in the
agreements and forms help page within the "Program Tools" section on the Partner Network site.

Do I get to set the price for my mobile application?
Yes! This is another example of how the Partner Network Program puts the developer in control. You can charge customers a monthly subscription fee, a one time charge, or nothing at all. The maximum price T-Mobile will bill for through this program is $29.99 per application per month. For paid applications you get to keep 70% of the revenue and if you implement an advertising strategy you will receive 100% of the revenue.

What about free mobile applications?
No worries! If you want to distribute a free mobile application that meets all the Partner Network program requirements, you are welcome to do so. In addition, you can implement an advertising strategy within your mobile application or website and you will receive 100% of the revenue generated. For your convenience, we partnered with three advertising solution providers that quickly get you up to speed and on deck with an advertising solution. Where are mobile applications and web sites listed on web2go?
Mobile applications and web sites are listed in the T-Mobile catalog.
Help potential customers find your mobile application or web site by providing the following information when you submit them for testing.
- Distinct name
- Compelling description
- Price
- Attractive icon or screen shot
- Download size (if applicable)
- Appropriate category listing
The fields that are labeled “customer-facing” in the submission form contain the information displayed if your mobile application or web site is listed in the T-Mobile.

How will customers find my mobile application or web site?
T-Mobile customers who use web2go
SM will be able to see a listing of your mobile application or web site when they browse the catalog under the 'Downloads' tab. We require the customer to have a data plan in order to purchase and download mobile applications. However, if they do not have a data plan, we make it easy for them to sign up!

Are there any reporting tools?
At this time the Partner Network provides information related to your sales on a monthly basis with your settlement report. In addition, we’ve recently added Flurry Analytics as a Service Provider so you can easily implement an analytics solution. Flurry provides a free solution that tracks usage data, event tracking and other information, and Partner Network Program members receive a discount for their advanced tracking solutions.
